FAQ (Eng)

IS THE ASKING PRICE FAIR?

We use an expert from an international company to assess the value of the work. They are very a professional body and are very proficient in their work. They check back through lists over the last four years or more regarding the sale record of the artists and the name of the work and of course the quality of the work involved.

PROVENANCE AND HISTORY

A good provenance is very important when selling a work of art and so is a certificate of authenticity, providing that it is genuine of course. That is why it is important to have them examined by a qualified expert when selling such an important work. Can you expect to buy a work of art without a provenance?

HOW IMPORTANT ARE THE DETAILS

Before buying, we look at the photographs that you have provided to us and sent by e-mail, those of the front and back of the page, signature, date, numbers, labels etc. These details are very important to look at before sending them to us.

When buying prints, it is better to buy them unframed to avoid any surprises, as they could be glued or taped or the margin could be the wrong size which you cannot see if they are framed.

CARE ABOUT YOUR WORK.

The prints that you are sending to us are examined by experts for any existing damage. The company that we use have appropriate storage and their staff are trained in proper handling processes.
